For centuries, we have attempted to understand our own minds through work in psychology, neuroscience, even art. Yet, these attempts have been limited by imperfect methods of isolating and perceiving how mechanisms in our minds correlate with reality. Techniques to read the brain have historically been either noisy, unwieldy, or expensive. This restricts both the quality and quantity of reliable, well-labeled data used to understand the brain.
Recent scientific advances in collecting data from the brain, combined with the capabilities of well-designed AI models to ingest and understand that data, allow us to monumentally accelerate our understanding of the brain.
